This position applies cellular and molecular biology expertise to contribute to the design and development of a prototype potency assay aimed at evaluating AAV quality.

【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

・Design and develop a prototype potency assay, including protein expression assay, infectivity assay, and functional assay.

・Collaborate with related functions, including CMC and other cross-functional teams.

・Maintain and update scientific knowledge on novel technologies.

・Provide regular reports to the Senior Scientist and Head of Discovery Intelligence in GT Engineering, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.

This position is based in Tsukuba in Japan and will require on-site work to manage wet lab works.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】

＜必須 / Required＞

・PhD in molecular biology or a related scientific discipline.

・Experience in drug discovery research.

・Technical proficiency in cell and molecular biology techniques.

・Hands-on experience conducting cell-based assays.

・Experience as a research project team member within cross-functional environment.

・Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

＜歓迎 / Preferred＞

・Be familiar with multiple areas of biology and technologies.

・Knowledge and hands-on experience with AAV (adeno-associated virus)

・Experience working in global, cross-functional team consisting of different backgrounds.

【給与 / Salary】

①基本給：当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定

②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給

③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給

①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.

②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)

③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
