The GU Oncology Medical Lead in the Astellas Japan Medical Affairs organization is the regional medical lead and a core member of the GU Oncology local Brand teams.

This position is responsible for collaborating with external medical experts and cross-functional internal stakeholders to formulate and implement the brand plans, thereby driving the maximization of short-, mid-, and long-term brand values and delivering them for patients. Guided by a top-level vision to improve patient outcomes through strategic value-based partnerships, we are looking for candidates with the resilience to confront challenges while working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

アステラス製薬ジャパンのMedical Affairs組織におけるGU Oncology Medical Lead は、GU Oncology 領域のRegional Medical leadローカルブランドチームの中核的な役割を担います。

本ポジションは、外部の医療専門家、社内の部門横断的なステークホルダーと連携しながら、ブランド戦略の策定および実行を担い、短期・中期・長期にわたるブランド価値の最大化を推進し、その価値を患者さんへ届ける役割を担います。戦略的かつ価値に基づくパートナーシップを通じて患者アウトカムの向上を目指すというトップレベルのビジョンのもと、多様なステークホルダーと協働しながら、困難な課題にも粘り強く向き合えるレジリエンスを備えた人材を求めています。

【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

·Embed a strong ethics and compliance culture across all activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations

·Develop sustainable relationships with external experts and medical organizations to enhance Astellas presence.

·Act as a trusted representative for the company in external forums, conferences, and industry partnerships

·Lead a high-impact local brand team function by formulating and implementing integrated evidence generation, communication plans, brand strategy, and effective execution of medical affairs tactics to ensure appropriate use of Astellas products

·By broadening perspectives to understand regional environments beyond Japan and contributing to global product strategy, strive as a global core team to enhance product value worldwide.

·Contribute to the growth of individual members and the enhancement of overall team capabilities by providing practical support to other team members.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】

＜必須 / Required＞

·Doctoral degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD).

·Prior Medical Affairs Experience　(Medical or MSL Experiemce).

·Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

·Has advanced understanding of reginal regulations, rules and guidelines related to pharma business activities in Japan.

·Possesses relevant industry knowledge of guidelines and trends overseen by JPMA (Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association).

·Analytical and logical thinking skills

·Problem solving and management skills

·Business level English skills and competencies

·Proactive and assertive attitude to establish networking

·Excellent communication and presentation skills

・博士号（PharmD、PhD、MD など）を有すること。

・Medical Affairs分野での実務経験。（Medical Affairs または MSL の経験）

・優れたコミュニケーション能力およびステークホルダーマネジメント能力。

・日本における製薬企業の事業活動に関連する地域規制、ルール、ガイドラインについて高度な理解を有していること。

・日本製薬工業協会（JPMA）が管轄するガイドラインや業界動向に関する関連知識を有していること。

・分析的かつ論理的な思考力。

・課題解決力およびマネジメントスキル。

・ビジネスレベルの英語力および英語での業務遂行能力。

・積極的かつ主体的にネットワークを構築できる姿勢。

・優れたコミュニケーション能力およびプレゼンテーションスキル。

＜歓迎 / Preferred＞

·Substantial knowledge in relevant field; e.g. urology, oncology, immunology, molecular genetics, cell biology, to engage in in-depth discussions with specialists

·Experience in clinics in urology or oncology units

·Experience in basic science as Ph.D student and/or post-doctoral fellow

·Experience of working oversees

・関連分野（例：泌尿器科、腫瘍学、免疫学、分子遺伝学、細胞生物学など）における十分な専門知識を有し、専門医と深い議論ができること

・泌尿器科または腫瘍領域の臨床（診療科）における勤務経験

・博士課程学生および／またはポスドク研究員としての基礎研究の経験

・海外での勤務経験

①基本給：当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定

②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給

③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給

①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.

②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)

③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
