【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
本ポジションは、PR&Dにおける原薬、製剤、および分析開発に関連する新規技術の探索および統合を主導し、迅速なCMC開発、安定したGMP製造、および最速の規制申請の実現を目的とする。
高度な技術的専門性と幅広い社内外ネットワークを活用し、技術スカウティングおよび実現可能性評価から社内資産や業務への実装に至るまでの一連の活動を自律的に推進するとともに、研究者に対する技術的リーダーシップおよび指導を提供する。
TSILにおけるシニア技術職として、高い自律性のもとで業務を遂行し、革新的技術を実用的なCMCソリューションへと転換するというTSILのミッションに貢献する。
さらに本ポジションは、CMC領域全体におけるデジタルトランスフォーメーションの中核的リーダーとしての役割を担い、特にデータ構造化およびAI活用に注力する。Digital-Xおよびクロスファンクショナルチームと密接に連携し、戦略立案やPoCから実装および持続的な定着に至るまで、エンドツーエンドでDX施策を主導する。これには、PR&DにおけるAIエージェント、シミュレーション、デジタルツインの活用が含まれ、GMP、QA、RAの要件を考慮して推進される。
また、ラボオートメーションリードと連携し、自律型ラボの構築・発展を支援する役割も担う。
This role leads the exploration and integration of emerging technologies related to drug substance, drug product, and analytical development within PR&D, with the goal of enabling rapid CMC development, stable GMP manufacturing, and fastest regulatory submissions.
Using strong technical expertise and a broad internal and external network, the position independently drives activities from technology scouting and feasibility assessment to implementation in internal assets or business operations, while providing technical leadership and guidance to scientists.
As a senior technical role within TSIL, the position operates with a high level of autonomy and contributes to TSIL’s mission of converting innovative technologies into practical CMC solutions.
In addition, the role serves as a core leader of digital transformation across the CMC domain, focusing on data structuring and AI utilization. Working closely with Digital-X and cross-functional teams, the position owns end to end DX initiatives—from strategy and PoC to implementation and sustainable adoption—including AI agents, simulation, and digital twin activities in PR&D, with consideration of GMP, QA, and RA requirements.
The role also collaborates with the Lab Automation Lead to support the development of autonomous laboratories.
【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

・CMC全体、特に分析技術分野においてシニアレベルの技術リーダーシップを発揮し、PDM戦略を主導するとともに、チームメンバーの育成および部門横断的な課題解決を推進する。
・新規技術のスカウティング、評価、および統合を主導し、ボストン拠点のTSIL Technology Scouting Leadと連携しながら、CMC領域全体における実践的な科学・技術の進展を推進する。
・CMC領域におけるデジタルトランスフォーメーションの中核リーダーとして、データ構造化、AI、シミュレーション、デジタルツイン導入に関するエンドツーエンドの取り組みを、Digital‑Xおよびクロスファンクショナルなステークホルダーと連携して主導する。
・Digital-X、GMP、QA、規制要件と整合したDX戦略を策定・推進し、外部テクノロジー企業やIT/OTパートナーとの協働をリードする。
・ADI Headを支援し、中長期的な戦略の策定および推進に貢献する。
・チームの技術力向上を推進するとともに、若手メンバーの専門性およびキャリア開発を支援する。
・Provide senior technical leadership across CMC, particularly analytical technologies, leading PDM strategies, mentoring team members, and addressing cross‑disciplinary challenges.
・Lead the scouting, evaluation, and integration of emerging technologies, driving practical scientific and technical advances across CMC fields in collaboration with the TSIL Technology Scouting Lead based in Boston to coordinate technology scouting activities.
・Serve as a core leader of CMC digital transformation, owning end‑to‑end initiatives in data structuring, AI, simulation, and digital twin implementation in collaboration with Digital‑X and cross‑functional stakeholders.
・Define and promote DX strategies aligned with Digital-X, GMP, QA, and Regulatory requirements, and lead collaborations with external technology and IT/OT partners.
・Support the Head of ADI in defining and driving mid‑ to long‑term strategies.
・Lead the enhancement of the team’s technical capabilities and support the professional and career development of junior members.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】
＜必須 / Required＞
・科学分野または関連分野における修士号、もしくは同等の知識・実務経験
・製薬またはバイオテクノロジー業界における10年以上の実務経験
・CMCに関する理解
・DX、データ、AI、または関連領域での実務経験
・組織横断チームのリーダーとしてPJやチームを推進された経験
・研究、開発、QA、RAにまたがるクロスファンクショナルな取り組みを主導した実績
・日本語および英語のビジネスレベルの語学力（議論、文書作成、ステークホルダー調整が可能であること）
・会社戦略を正確に理解し、CMC全体の戦略／計画として適切に落とし込み実行できる能力
・Master’s degree or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in science or a related field
・More than 10 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
・Understanding of CMC
・Practical experience in DX, data, AI, or related fields
・Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and projects
・Proven experience leading cross‑functional initiatives spanning Research, Development, QA, and RA
・Business‑level proficiency in both English and Japanese (discussion, documentation, and stakeholder alignment)
・Capability to understand company strategy and align and implement it as end-to-end CMC strategies and plans
