【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
-Provide scientific and technical support with pathophysiological/toxicologic elucidation and strategy building within and across PCUs that includes the design, analysis, assessment and reporting of pathophysiology/toxicology studies. Responsible for pathophysiological/toxicological assessment in each chapter by leveraging expertise.
-Responsible for collecting scientific information/promoting research advocacy necessary for smooth promotion of internal programs.
【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】
-Provide pathophysiological/toxicological profiling in each chapter by leveraging expertise including in vitro model regarding to iPSCs, human organ models such as organ-on-chip, organoid, microphysiological system
-Collect information and promote research advocacy necessary for smooth promotion of internal programs
-Excute/Support promoting non-clinical research on pathophysiology/safety concerns arising from targets and modalities using cutting-edge technologies.
-Provide expert input for decision making as an ad hoc member of meeting for decision making regarding safety assessment in each project
-Write regulatory documents and interact with external stakeholder including regulatory agencies, biotech and academia

【応募要件 / Qualifications】
-Master's Degree or equivalent related experiences
-Three years or more of working experience at a biotech/pharmaceutical company or the equivalent experience at academic research
-General knowledge and experience of drug discovery and development.
-General knowledge of in vitro model regarding to iPSCs, human organ models such as organ-on-chip, organoid, microphysiological system)
-Developing communication skills (active & passive) in own language and in English
-Self-motivated, excellent team player with good communication skills
＜必須 / Must＞
- Master's Degree
- 3+ years experiences in toxicological/pharmacological research
- Leading expertise in one of the following: Toxicology, Ophthalmology, molecular biology or cell biology(human organ models such as organ-on-chip, organoid, microphysiological systems from human cell sources such as stem cell-derived cells, cell lines, human primary cell/organs)
- Communicating skills in own language with internal and external organization
＜歓迎 / Want＞
- PhD in toxicology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical or related sciences (PhD, PharmD or MD)
- Robust leadership skills or human network especially in strong connection with sensory organ, especially ophthalmology or cell biology in non-clinical research
