The role will support the Global Supplier Innovation Lead through the development of a Global Supplier Relationship Programme and the Global Supplier Risk Lead in driving a multi-year Third party risk management improvement programme through robust adherence to supplier risk policies as Co-Lead. The role will have the following key goals:
•Co-lead appropriate Procurement risk and governance models and ensure that third party exposure is managed in a robust manner and in line with relevant Astellas and regulatory requirements
•Supports development and rolling out the Astellas Corporate Supplier Relationship Management Strategy in partnership with Global Category Leads and Vendor Managers located within certain business divisions in APAC region
•Supports development and rolling out the Astellas sustainable procurement Strategy and to execute related ESG activitties in partnership with Global sustainability colleagues located in APAC region

This role will be accountable for managing and mitigating all risks related to third parties & to further develop and improve sustainable procurement & supplier relationship management practises which supports the transformation to an industry leading Procurement function. Key focus areas of the identified model will include the development of a highly effective Procurement organization where Astellas is viewed as a Customer of Choice.
1.Co-leading the TPLM program alongside the global Risk lead and will responsible to further develop and implement the TPLM pre-clearance program
2.Act as the Global SME Risk domain lead for Solvency within the TPLM program.
3.Develop and ensure implementation of recommendations through detailed action plans to mitigate identified risks, including those associated with business continuity
4.Prioritize risks by impact and likelihood using qualitative and quantitative data, conduct relevant analyses where required to identify and highlight areas of exposure and calculate residual risk based on mitigation efforts
5.Own interfaces with Ethics & Compliance and other Risk domain leads/Functions.
6.Work closely with the Global Risk Lead and Global SRM Lead in order to create cohesion and inputs to a seamless end-to-end Supplier governance Management process by including risk adverse activities
7.Manage the Risk Operations team (BPO) that supports TPLM daily operations as well as coordinate with the system support vendor to optimize the use of the system that manages the risk assessment process..
8.Support and development to Delivery of Supplier Relationship management program with stated goals to define value beyond savings, supplier interventions and oversight at enterprise level, supply base innovation to increase speed to market amongst others within the APAC region
9.Collaborates with relevant business stakeholders to support ESG procurement related activities such as but not limited to: updating of ESG policies and documents, completing prcocurement related content in external ESG survey, engage and collaborate with suppliers to obtain ESG data within the APAC region.

Minimum Qualification
•Bachelor’s degree required
•Fluency in English conversational and business English (equivalent to TOEFL iBT 105+, or 7.5 IELTS, CAE- Cambridge English advanced exam)

•Knowledge in risk management policies and procedures

•MBA is desirable
•+5 years of procurement, supply chain, and/or technically relevant work experience
•Deep understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Category Management practice and 3rd party risk management
•Proven extensive experience in managing third party service providers and services provided by third parties
