Formulation & ADME drives the optimization of drug candidates through globally competitive formulation development and advanced ADME/safety strategies from the early stages of oncology drug discovery to clinic. This role supports to provide the strategic guidance on the optimization of drug candidates' ADME/safety/physicochemical properties, accelerates the DMTA cycle through strategic study plan and the delivery of high-quality, high-quantity, and high-speed readouts, and establishes ourselves as a formulation and ADME group with global competitiveness.  We are looking for individuals who can add values to Oncology Research!

【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

•創薬ADME分野における傑出した科学者として活動 

•非臨床ADMEデータの解析・解釈・統合・報告 

•PK（薬物動態）と PD（薬理作用）の関係を明らかにする in vitro / in vivo 試験の設計・実施 

•ADME プロファイルを踏まえた化合物最適化（プロジェクトタイムライン・規制基準との整合性確保） 

•外部 CRO や大学機関との連携・実験委託管理 

•オンコロジー研究全体の戦略・目標に沿った研究推進 

•開発部門や他研究チームとの協働による科学的知見の戦略化

・Act as an outstanding scientist of discovery ADME function.

・Responsible for the analysis, interpretation, integration and reporting of preclinical ADME data.

・As part of the integrated project teams, design and execute in vitro/in vivo studies to understand the relationship between pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD).

・Clarify ADME profiles to optimize compounds based on their ADME profiles requirements, ensuring alignment with project timelines and regulatory standards.

・Interact/manage external vendors (CROs, academic sites etc.) for conducting in vivo and in vitro experiments.

・Align with overall Oncology Research strategy and objectives.

・Partner with other teams in Oncology Research as well as Development to translate scientific insights into actionable ADME/formulation strategies.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】

＜必須 / Must＞

・理系修士号、または製薬科学、化学、生化学、薬理学、その他関連分野における優れた実務経験 

・製薬企業または学術研究機関での関連経験が7年以上あり、創薬および医薬品開発の十分な理解を有していること 

・製剤、ADME（吸収・分布・代謝・排泄）、安全性、またはドラッグデリバリーに関する知識を有していること 

・低分子化合物、ペプチド、ADC（抗体薬物複合体）、多機能抗体に対する LBA（リガンド結合アッセイ）および／または LC-MS/MS 分析のスキル 

・実験の実務経験 

・日本語および英語による能動的・受動的なコミュニケーション能力

・Science degree MS, or exceptional experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field.

・At least 7 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical company or in academic research with a good understanding of Drug Discovery and Development.

・Knowledge of drug formulation, ADME, safety, or drug delivery is required.

・Skills in LBA and/or LCMSMS analysis for engineered small molecules, peptides, ADCs, multifunctional antibodies.

・Experience with laboratory techniques.

・Communication skills (active & passive) in own language and in English.

＜歓迎 / Want＞

・低分子、抗体、ADC の ADME スクリーニング法開発および SAR の確立経験 

・がん治療薬開発の経験と知識 

・動物取り扱い経験

・Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing ADME screening methods and establishing SARs for small molecule, antibody, and ADC.

・Experience in drug development and familiarity with cancer therapeutics.

・Experience with animal handling.

②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給

③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給

①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.

②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)

③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
