【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
・This position will be fully dedicated to a priority program within Astellas Rx+ that is focused on the development and commercialization of a Digital Therapeutic plus hardware medical device product.
・As a member of the team this position will have overall responsibility for establishing the required capabilities to launch and operate the assigned product in collaboration with medical societies and partners. This individual will work closely with relevant departments on assigned products to create mid to long-term commercial strategies that maximize product value and profit over the entire lifecycle.
・This position is responsible for understanding the marketing practices in medical and medical devices fields, leading marketing strategies, and forecasting sales, profit, and projections for assigned products.


【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

・Acquire a deep understanding of the assigned product, mechanism of action, and clinical/economic value proposition as well as digital health products or services.
・Lead commercial plan building by identifying patient/customer segmentation and targeting, brand differentiation, promotion priorities, communication channels, and brand key messages.
・Establish brand positioning based on the marketing strategy for the product, and lead the creation and dissemination of medical and product information that meets customer needs to promote the proper use of products.
・Lead the planning to realize the marketing strategy, considering the optimal promotional mix for the products.
・Lead the organizational design of sales, distribution, and customer support for the launch of assigned products utilizing digital tools.
・Identifies and engages partners that can support the supply chain of software and hardware medical device to Hospital/Clinic.
・Good collaboration within Rx+ Business Accelerator, Medical Department, External Relations Department, and other internal departments, as well as with external parties such as partner companies.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】
<必須 / Required>
・Bachelor’s Degree at minimum is highly desirable.
・5+ years of experience working in the medical industry.
・Experience managing KOLs or national-level speakers.
・Have a pioneering spirit and can work independently, even in a new field.
・Experience launching new medical devices or pharmathutical products in the Diabetes field.
・Take responsibility for your own work and be proactive and willing to take on new challenges without being constrained by the past.
・Ability to have a deep understanding of medical and pharmaceutical information at a level that enables them to talk with medical specialists, have a sound understanding of product strategy, and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in line with the strategy through their strong communication skills.
・Previous experience establishing/standing up commercial/operational infrastructure in a digital health company and/or start up
・Strong preference for experience in medical device/digital health startups, specifically Digital Therapeutics, Prescription Digital Therapeutics

<歓迎 / Preferred>
・Experience working primarily in KOL management, including current and past.
・Familiarity with clients in the Diabetes area
・Experience with a successful entry into a new area of business.

①基本給:当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定
②裁量労働制の場合:裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000~100,000円支給
③フレックスタイム制の場合:月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給
①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.
②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000~100,000yen, based on the Grade)
③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
