【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】

The Global Business Data Lead for Finance will be a deep subject matter expert in the area of Finance data. The individual must have the experience to navigate data structures across multiple systems and applications. He/she must keep current with process and technology trends. The individual will set up data governance teams, drive data quality, lead harmonization efforts and establish policies and procedures for finance data. He/she will provide direction with regard to the effective use of data and technology within the finance area. He/she will be the ‘go-to’ person for all global issues/direction related to finance master data and other finance data such as cost center, WBS, GL Accounts, Asset accounting, Budgeting, Treasury, Tax, etc. He/she will be a data expert in Finance process areas such as fixed asset accounting, budgeting, project systems, FP&A, Tax and Treasury, and Intercompany.


【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities

DATA GOVERNANCE

Establish and develop the Finance data governance team comprising cross-functional business and IT experts.

Drive creation and upkeep of data standards, policies, and procedures in the area of Finance.

Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets in the area of finance – Cost Centers, WBS, GL Accounts.

Periodically report to governance councils on state of Finance master data quality and governance.

Support Ethics and Compliance efforts to ensure finance data is aligned with transparency reporting requirements.

Establish governance and assist the Finance teams in master data setup related to analytics.


OPERATIONS

Utilize expertise in cost objects, finance data assets, and HR mini-master to ensure appropriate change management and issue resolution of the data assets.

Drive efforts to streamline data processes and workflows to increase efficiency.

Develops and maintains an onboarding process for newly enrolled data analysts and processors.


TECHNICAL

Utilizes expertise in Ariba, Concur, SAP S4 Finance functionality to support IT projects by assisting with requirements identification, testing, system functionality approval, and training materials.

Develop & maintain inventory of the global enterprise information maps, including systems of record, system owners, data owners, and business functions such as Procurement, R&D, Commercial, Treasury, Supply Chain, and HR.


【Specific Physical or Environmental Requirements】

This position is eligible for our hybrid work model. When the situation improves, international travel may be required.


【応募要件 / Qualifications

<必須 / Must

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or other Technology field.

• 7-10 years of Ariba, SAP S4 Finance, SAP MDG, or SAP Finance.

7-10 years of consulting experience implementing technology projects or leading Finance data migration in SAP.

End-to-end knowledge of finance process (fixed asset accounting, budgeting, project systems, treasury, product costing, internal orders, Accounts receivable and payable, etc.)

Demonstrated strength in project management

Excellent communication skills including effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Experience interacting with executive leadership.

Strong collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Strong presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced program environment.

Ability to balance work with multiple cultures and multiple time zones.

• Language: Both native-level Japanese and business-level English


<歓迎 / Want

2-5 years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Analysis

1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical industry.

SAP HR and Concur experience.

①基本給:当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定

②裁量労働制の場合:裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000100,000円支給

③フレックスタイム制の場合:月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給

①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.

②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000~100,000yen, based on the Grade)

③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
